LONDON - The parents of a wanderlust schoolboy, Peter Kerry (15), from Harrow, north west London, yesterday vowed to do everything in their "limited powers" to stop their son running away again.

The boy who returned from Germany last night more than a week after vanishing without trace from his home was condemned by his headmaster for acting "selfishly and irresponsibly". In February he flew 7,000 miles to Malaysia using his father's passport and credit card, sparking a world wide search.

His latest escapade ended when he was picked up by German police cycling on an autobahn.
