CANBERRA - Australia's most respected pianist sprang to the defence of Shine hero David Helfgott yesterday after US critics attacked him.
"He's the last person in this entire profession, perhaps, who's not bitchy, or smart, or trying to take advantage of somebody else's career," fellow ,pianist Roger Woodward said.
