Gardaí in Cork are investigating an arson attack on a house early this morning.

Gardaí in Cork are investigating an arson attack on a house early this morning.

According to gardaí, a petrol bomb was thrown through the front window of a house in Kileenreendowney Avenue, Togher, in the city at about 1.40am today.

A couple and their two-year-old daughter were in the house, but no one was injured

The device caused minor damage to the building, which has now been sealed off for investigation.
