An 82-year-old woman was held down while thieves ransacked her south Belfast home last night.
Thieves escaped with a substantial sum of cash after the pair forced their way inside the Annadale property shortly before 7.30pm. They escaped in a dark-coloured saloon car.
The woman was unhurt but shaken by her ordeal. Detectives appealed for anybody with information to contact them.
