Gardaí in Tuam are investigating a fatal fire in which a 75-year-old man died last night.
Gardaí say the fire started in a shed beside the man's house in Bodane, Tuam, Co Galway at 10pm.
The man's body was removed to University Hospital Galway, where a postmortem will be carried out later today.
The scene is sealed off pending a Garda examination.
