Cape Town - A gift shop on South Africa's Robben Island, formerly a penal colony and now a museum of the antiapartheid struggle, has been robbed by a masked man, police said yesterday. The man, armed with a handgun, overpowered a shop assistant on Thursday night and got away with more than 23,000 rand (£3,140) in cash.
