Two 11-year-old pupils and their male teacher were slightly injured when pellets were shot into their schoolyard in Dublin yesterday. All three received minor bruising, first aid.

The incident happened at 12.55 p.m. at Scoil Mhuire Gan Smal primary school in Inchicore, when 35 sixth class pupils were on their lunchbreak. A search of the area resulted in the recovery of four pellets, but failed to locate a firearm.
