A pedestrian who died in a road traffic collision near Castlebellingham, Co Louth, on Friday evening, has been named as Adrian Durr (37) from Banbridge, Co Down.

The incident occurred shortly before 9pm on the north bound carriageway of the M1 at Commons, near Castlebellingham. Mr Durr died at the scene.

Witnesses or anyone with information have been asked to contact Ardee Garda station.
