Pedestrian killed in Limerick crash

Gardaí are today continuing to investigate a fatal crash in Co Limerick yesterday evening.

The incident happened at Ballaugh, Abbeyfeale at about 5pm.

A van struck a male pedestrian in his 60s. He was pronounced dead at the scene, and the body was taken to the Mid Western Regional hospital in Limerick.

The driver of the van was uninjured.
