A pedestrian has died after being struck by a bus in Co Galway this evening.
The incident happened shortly after 6pm at Corranmore Rd., approximately half a mile on the city side of Galway Airport.
A male pedestrian, not yet identified was struck by a bus, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, gardaí in Kerry have named the man who died following a collision in Ardfert this morning as Mr John Flahive, Glenderry, Ballyheigue, Co. Kerry.
