A motorist has been arrested after a female pedestrian was killed in Co Down early this morning.
The woman was hit by a car on the Rowreagh Road near Kircubbin at about 3.00am.
A 26-year-old man was arrested.
Police in Newtownards are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to contact them.
