A 50-year-old woman has died after being struck by a car on the Creggan Road in Derry, police said today.
She was named as Catherine Harkin, from Glen Road, Derry.
The crash, which involved a red Mitsubishi Colt, was reported to police at about 5.15pm yesterday.
Officers want to speak to anyone who was in the area of the junction between Creggan Road and Glen Road at the time of the incident.
