PDs stress threat from Sellafield

The Sellalield reprocessing plant was the greatest environmental threat facing this State, said a joint statement from the PD leader, Ms Mary Harney, and Dr Mary Grehan, the party's candidate for Louth. In government, the PDs would press for the establishment of an independent EU agency to monitor all nuclear establishments and would call for funds to study the effects of Sellafield.
