The chairman of the Progressive Democrats, Senator John Dardis, has called for every effort to be employed to end the dispute at Dunnes Stores. The dispute, due to begin on Monday next, will threaten thousands of jobs of Irish workers employed in companies supplying goods to Dunnes, he said.
