Partial rerun of poll sought

VIENNA - The Swiss Foreign Minister, Mr Flavio Cotti, chairman of the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe, urged Albania yesterday to consider a partial rerun of its general election for the sake of democratic stability. Mr Cotti said he was concerned at the findings of OSCE observers who were present in Albania for the May 26th poll, which was marked by last minute withdrawals and violence.
