Hundreds of people gathered for a special ecumenical service in Mount Argus, Dublin, last night to remember their babies and children whose organs were retained after post-mortems.

In the service, the parents were given white roses and candles which they carried to the altar to remember their children. Music was provided by the Garda Ladies' Choir and singer Mary Black who sang Wonder Child.

The service was organised by ISANDS, the Irish Stillbirth And Neo-natal Deaths Society.
