PANAMA CITY - Panama's Congress has passed a new law to govern operations of the Panama Canal under Panamian control next century, the Foreign Minister, Mr Ricardo Arias, said yesterday.
"It's a message to the world that Panama is assuming control of the Panama Canal in a responsible manner," Mr Arias told reporters.
