An Israeli tank shell has killed a 16-year-old Palestinian boy in Beit Hanoun in northern Gaza, Palestinian emergency services said.
At least 151 Palestinians, around half of them gunmen, have been killed in Israel's month-long assault on Gaza to recover a captured soldier and end cross-border rocket attacks.
Militants have continued to fire rockets into Israel. Three rockets were fired from Gaza today, the Israeli army said.
