Pakistan levelled their historic series against India with a nine-wicket victory in the second Test, completed just after lunch on the fourth day in Lahore today.
Taufeeq Umar scored the winning boundary and finished on 14 not out, while Yasir Hameed blasted 16 from 12 balls to make the early loss of Imran Farhat (9) inconsequential.
Pakistan reached 40, their victory target, for the loss of just Farhat's wicket, to put the seal on an outstanding performance.
Earlier in the day, Pakistan had removed the remaining five Indian batsmen as the tourists posted a score of 241 in their second innings.
They avoided an innings defeat, but an overall lead of 39 was not going to concern Pakistan and they duly reached their target in seven overs.
After India's innings win at Multan, this was the perfect reply by Pakistan, and sets up a thrilling final match in the series next week at Rawalpindi.
This is the first time in 15 years that India have toured Pakistan for a Test series.
