Two employees at Goodtime Charlie's disco in Howth have been given six-month suspended sentences at Dublin iruit Criminal Court for assault on two youths who had been refused entrance. John Darcy (49), of Swift's Close Clonshaugh and Kieran Cadwell (38), of Conquer Hill, Clontarf, pleaded guilty to common assault of Mr Darragh O'Brien and Mr Hugh Courtney outside Goodtime Charlie's disco on January 12th, 1997. Their co-accused, William Hanlon (45) Beauvale Park, Artane, was previously convicted of kicking Mr Darragh O'Brien in the head causing his jaw to be broken. He was given a suspended three-year sentence before Christmas.
