Pair charged over major €1.5m cannabis seizure

LIMERICK DISTRICT COURT:Two men charged in connection with a massive drugs haul were remanded in continuing custody yesterday. Kieran Nevin (25), of Oliver Plunkett Street, St Mary's Park, Limerick, and Shane Ferguson, (44), of Meadowbrook, Mill Road, Corbally, Limerick, appeared before Limerick District Court. They are both charged with possession of cannabis worth an estimated €1.5 million. The shipment was discovered in Annagh, Co Limerick, on May 25th.
