The Minister for Justice, Mrs Owen, has formally approved Ireland's signature of a proposed protocol to the EU Convention on the establishment of a European Police Office (Europol).
The protocol will enable preliminary rulings to be sought from the European Court of Justice on the interpretation of the Europol Convention.
