Gardaí have recorded over 750 drink-driving offences in the last fortnight according to the latest figures released tonight.
According to provisional statistics during the seven day period from December 4th to December 11th a total of 383 drink driving incidents were recorded.
During the previous week 374 incidents were recorded.
A garda spokesman said the force would continue to "prioritise" enforcement activities in relation to drink-driving.
