Over £1/4m for loss of sex life

LONDON - A former nurse today won £271,520 in High Court damages for the destruction of her sex life. Ms Gail Eardley (44), was gravely disabled by "constant gnawing pain" in her back, which she injured in April 1993 while lifting an 80-year-old woman from a bath into a wheelchair. Her relationship with her boyfriend broke down because of her stiffness and lack of response.
