Lagos - A prominent Nigerian opposition leader was arrested by security agents at Lagos airport yesterday after arriving back from a trip abroad, colleagues said.

Mr Olisa Agbakoba (45), national president of the United Action for Democracy (UAD) coalition, which groups 26 prodemocracy and human rights organisations, was taken off to an unknown location after his arrest, they said.
