Dushanbe - Tajikistan's armed Islamic opposition yesterday freed 80 government soldiers it had taken prisoner during a four-year civil war, witnesses said. The troops had been held by opposition field commander Mirzo Ziyoyev in the Tavil Dara valley, about 200 km east of Dushanbe.
