A woman has died and a man is in a critical condition in hospital after a road accident in Co Donegal.
The incident happened at around 2.15 p.m. this afternoon when a car and a lorry collided on the dual carriageway into Letterkenny at Rossbracken.
The woman was in her late teens, the man’s age has not been given.
In another incident, a number of people were trapped for a time in two vehicles which collided on the Milltownpass to Kinnegad Road just before 5 p.m. this evening.
They have now been freed and no fatalities have been reported.
