Paris - One of 150 people injured when a car ploughed into crowds on the Champs Elysees celebrating France's World Cup football victory died in hospital yesterday, hospital officials said.

A spokesman for Paris hospitals refused to give details on the deceased. A French radio station said he was a 42-yearold Romanian.
