LOS ANGELES - The grandparents of the children of football legend O.J. Simpson and his slain ex-wife Nicole Brown have fired their lawyers in the custody battle with Simpson for lack of funds.

Lou and Juditha Brown, battling Simpson over custody over Sydney (10) and Justin (8), had to sack the lawyers after amassing an estimated $100,000 in pretrial legal proceedings.
