A Co Offaly man, Mr Sean Brennan (49), of Church Street, Tullamore, appeared before Tullamore District Court yesterday charged with murdering Ms Bernie Sherry, at Shanaderry, Portarlington, on April 5th/6th. Judge Aiden O'Donnell remanded Mr Brennan in custody until a hearing next week with consent to bail.
