US president-elect Barack Obama said today he had chosen Shaun Donovan as secretary of housing and urban development.
In his weekly radio address, Mr Obama announced his decision to name Mr Donovan, currently New York City commissioner of Housing Preservation and Development, to run the department that helps provide affordable housing to Americans.
