SYDNEY - Australian police are investigating the death of a terminally-ill woman who was denied access to Australia's short-lived voluntary euthanasia law. Police in the Northern Territory said they were preparing a report into the death of former nursing sister Esther Wild (56), who died after a drug-induced coma. As part of the investigation police will question Dr Philip Nitschke, who helped four people die under Australia's voluntary euthanasia law.
