Norwegian Mr Finn Kydland and American Mr Edward Prescott won the 2004 Nobel economics prize, the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences said today.
The pair share the 10 million Swedish crowns prize for their work explaining how business cycles are driven by factors such as changes in economic policy and technology.
