Oslo - Norway yesterday became the first nation occupied by the Nazis in the second World War to launch a plan to pay compensation to Jews for the Holocaust.The centrist cabinet drew praise from Jewish groups for approving a draft law setting aside a total of 450 million crowns ($58 million) for Jewish survivors of Nazi death camps, their descendants and Jewish organisations.
