Cairo - An Egyptian court has turned down a divorced woman's request for alimony, saying she had forced her husband to leave her because she had put on weight and neglected her appearance.
An appeal court in Alexandria threw out the woman's request for E£32,000 (£6,250) after her husband complained that she had stopped looking after him and herself, which drove him into the arms of his secretary.
