Nine people who were arrested in Cavan and Monaghan earlier today by gardaí investigating the sale and supply of ecstasy and other controlled drugs will appear before a sitting of Virginia District Court tomorrow morning.
The nine, six men and three women, were arrested in the course of a search operation this morning, a Garda spokesman said.
They range in age from their early 20s to mid-40s.
The Garda spokesman said a "considerable amount of cash and controlled drugs" were seized during this morning's operation.
