Two men were arrested after drugs worth £11,000 were seized when police raided six properties in Northern Ireland last night.

A number of cannabis plants were discovered in the searches in the Cookstown and Moneymore areas of Co Tyrone.

The men, aged 33 and 38, were released on bail pending further enquiries.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland said two men and two women are to be reported to the Public Prosecution Service for various offences including the alleged supply of illegal drugs.

Other items, including weighing scales, were also found.

All items will now undergo forensic testing.
