Membership of the new Arts Council of Northern Ireland has been announced. Members will serve a three-year term, starting on March 1st.
The new vice-chairwoman is Ms Eilis O Baoill, an arts officer from Ards Borough Council. She will be joined by Ms Maureen Armstrong, Mr David Boyd, Mr Martin Bradley, Dr Maurna Crozier, Mr Ronald Dunn, Dr Tess Hurson, Mr David Hyndman, Ms Judith Jordan, Mr James Kerr, Prof Brian McClelland, Ms Gerri Moriarty, Mr Aidan Shortt and Ms Margaret Yeomans.
The current chairman, Prof Brian Walker, will continue until August 2001.
