WINE consultant Ann Moran drew a good crowd to the official unveiling of her new place in Malahide, the Dublin Wine Company, which she has opened with business partner Sonjia Maher.
Moran, formerly wine adviser to Les Freres Jacques and Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud, brought in one of Ireland's leading sommeliers, Frank, Harrison, to take care of the guests. These included Les Freres Jacques owner Jean Jacques Caillabet and Clare McKeon, who in turn brought her mother and aunt to taste the wares of the gourmet store. A moveable feast indeed.
