New RTE head of current affairs

RTE has appointed Mr Noel Curran as Editor of Current Affairs in the Television Division. He joined RTE in 1992 as a senior reporter in current affairs, where he worked for Marketplace, Prime Time and Tuesday File. He had previously worked in print journalism for a number of years and joined RTE from Business and Finance magazine, where he was news editor.
