The Commission has awarded a ten year licence to i Radio North East & Midlands Limited (trading as i 107FM) for the provision of a new youth-based service for the midlands and north east of Ireland.

This service will cover the counties of Louth, Meath, Cavan, Monaghan, Kildare, Offaly, Westmeath and North-East Laois.

The award is subject to the successful outcome of contract negotiations and these are expected to be completed in the coming months.
