BRUSSELS - Belgium's top public prosecutor has opened investigations into unspecified new allegations against the Deputy Prime Minister, Mr Elio di Rupo, who was cleared a month ago of charges that he had sex with under age boys.

Public Prosecutor Ms Eliane Liekendael told a parliamentary committee in remarks broadcast on television yesterday that she had been provided with fresh information.
