The Dublin Port Company will have to carry out a new full Environment Impact Statement (EIS) on its proposal to reclaim 21 hectares of the foreshore in the port.

It said the Minister, being concerned about the adequacy of the EIS prepared by the company, had commissioned independent consultants to address this issue.
