The start of the Catherine Nevin murder trial has again been delayed due to legal argument. In the Central Criminal Court yesterday, Ms Justice Carroll sent the jury away until today while she continued to hear preliminary applications from counsel. She will rule on the legal submissions today.

Ms Catherine Nevin (48) has pleaded not guilty to the murder of Mr Thomas (Tom) Nevin (54) on March 19th, 1996, at their home in Jack White's Inn, Ballinapark, near Brittas Bay, Co Wicklow.
