Netgear to create 100 jobs in Cork

US-owned computer netwrking company Netgear is to establish its International headquarters in Cork, creating 100 jobs.

US-owned computer netwrking company Netgear is to establish its International headquarters in Cork, creating 100 jobs.

The new office will be the company's first outside of the US and will be responsibile for a variety of international operations. The firm is already recruiting for positions in finance, technical and IT support, HR, operations and product marketing.

Netgear makes a range of Ethernet, broadband and wireless networking products for connection to PC's and the Internet.

Welcoming the announcemnet today, the Minister for Enterprise Michae Martin said "Netgear is a company with strong brand recognition in its business internationally and is an excellent addition to the IT industry cluster in Cork."
