The former British trade and industry minister and Irish peer, Mr Richard Needham, sold his family's title, the Barony of Orhera, Co Armagh, for £23,500 sterling at an auction in London yesterday, writes Rachel Borrill. The title, in the Needham family since the 17th century, was sold to an anonymous overseas telephone bidder.
