Vienna - An eminent Austrian psychiatrist suspected of murdering children in a Nazi clinic during the second World War goes on trial next Tuesday, the first person to be tried for war crimes in Austria in over 20 years.
Dr Heinrich Gross (85) was charged last year with acting as an accessory to the murder of nine handicapped children while he was head of Vienna's "Am Spiegelgrund" children's clinic in 1944. Dr Gross denies the charges.
