CAIRO - Egyptian police have detained a Muslim militant suspected of helping the men who massacred 18 Greek tourists outside a Cairo hotel, the government newspaper al-Ahram said early today.
The man, who was not named, was one of many suspected militants rounded up in a massive manhunt for four gunmen and an accomplice. The gunmen opened fire at the Greek tourists outside the Europa Hotel on Thursday morning, killing 18, and wounding 14 Greeks and an Egyptian man.
