The trial of three Lurgan men at Belfast Crown Court for the murder of schoolboy Gavin Malcolm has been adjourned until Tuesday. For the second day running no evidence was heard yesterday, and the morning was taken up with legal applications before Mr Justice McCollum in the absence of the jury.

Mr Keith Brown (23), of Ashleigh Crescent RIR private Jason Chittick (22), of Pine Park; and 18 year old Mr William James Turkington (18), of Monroe Avenue, have denied murdering the 15 year old boy.

Gavin Malcolm died on April 8th, 1994, after being beaten unconscious and thrown from a four storey block of flats at Spelga Park, Lurgan.
