A man detained and questioned by gardai in relation to the murder of Joseph Dwyer, the drug addict who was beaten to death in Dolphin's Barn three weeks ago, was released at the weekend.
The man had been detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act and questioned at Kilmainham Garda station.
An AIDS sufferer and drug addict who was also a smalltime drugs dealer, Mr Dwyer was killed after being chased by a vigilante gang from Dolphin's Barn to his home in Basin Lane on May 14th.
